Originally from the East Coast, Melissa began her career in California, where she worked in operations for two innovative food industry start-ups. Her knack for optimizing systems and creating seamless workflows quickly set her apart. Later, she channeled her entrepreneurial spirit into launching her own business in the beauty industry — an experience that strengthened her leadership, creativity, and adaptability.

Now rooted in the Pacific Northwest, Melissa combines her diverse operational background with a creative and collaborative approach to support CI’s mission and team success. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring the Oregon coast, hiking scenic trails, traveling, and getting lost in a good book.
